  • ABOUT PORK SHARE

We raise Berkshire pigs right in our front pasture, under several apple trees. They eat organic, soy-free feed and apples that fall from the trees and have tons of space to root around and follow their natural instincts. Berkshire pigs are known for delicious marbled meat and rich flavor.

Our Berkshire pork is divided into 1/5 animal shares for purchase. Each share is approximately 30-35 lbs of packaged pork.

    Standard cuts:

    • Pork chops
    • Loin roast
    • Shoulder steak
    • Country style ribs
    • Spare ribs
    • Seasoned sausages
    • Bacon
    • Offal
  • PICK UP

    Mark Your Calendar

Your meat share MUST be picked up on the date you select between 3pm and 6pm. A pick up time after 6pm on that same day can be arranged on an individual basis by email: longrootsranch@gmail.com.

    Pick Up Location

Longroots Ranch: 8023 Hygiene Road, Longmont, CO 80503

    Why fixed and strict dates?

We pick up the meat frozen from the USDA processor on those days and do not have space to store your meat. Your meat will be frozen solid and perfect for transport that day.

Can't make it to get your last minute? Ask a friend to pick it up for you! Or get in touch with us for special arrangements and we'll figure it out.

    Total price:

    • Early bird: $480
    • After March 13: $500
