Ready to nourish family and heal the land with meat raised regeneratively right here in Boulder County?

What Shares Are Available from Our Ranch

We choose to sell meat by the share — instead of by the individual cut — because we feely responsible for using each animal that's harvested from our ranch fully and respectfully.

Reduce food waste, keep your dollars local, and support regenerative land management.

100% Grass-Fed Lamb Shares

lambbutcherguide_edited.png

At Longroots Ranch, our lamb is born and raised right here in Boulder County and moved across pastures in a way that supports soil health, biodiversity, and resilient land. It’s the definition of grass-fed meat from a Colorado ranch, raised with intention from start to finish.

Available for order:

  • Lamb Share  — ~20 lbs of packaged meat, fixed cuts, ~1 freezer drawer of storage space.

  • Whole Lamb — ~40 lbs of packaged meat, customizable cuts, ~2 freezer drawers of storage space.

Berkshire Heritage Pork Shares

Our Berkshire pigs spend their life in our front pasture, rooting around in the mud in spring, lounging in the shade in summer, and munching on apples from our trees in the fall. They eat exclusively organic, soy-free feed and veggie scraps our kids throw over the fence.

Available for order:

  • Pork Share — ~30 lbs of packaged meat, fixed cuts, ~2 freezer drawer of storage space.

  • Looking for more pork or customized cuts? Email us directly about a half or whole pork orders.
