This year at Longroots Ranch, we’re thinking deeply about people as part of the land we steward. Holistic land management isn’t just about soil, animals, or ecosystems — it’s also about how we build and foster community together. One of our favorite ways to do that is by supporting the local businesses that make our region vibrant.
Here’s a curated list of locally loved makers, creatives, and shops we’re excited to support this holiday season. Regeneration doesn't stop at the fence line, folks!
For gifts that sparkle — Avery Lee Design

Avery Lee Design crafts jewelry that feels like wearable art with a western aesthetic. Each piece is made with responsibly sourced materials and earthy stones that reflect the landscapes we call home. You may see Avery around town — she's based right here in Longmont!
✨Gift ideas: handcrafted earrings, stone stacker rings, custom pieces.
For curated vintage goodies — Low Rider
Low Rider is Virginia's go-to store, located dangerously close to us in Hygiene. It's a treasure trove of curated vintage clothing and modern home goods, art, apothecary goodies, and accessories. What's even better: Low Rider carries Avery Lee Design!
✨Gift ideas: vintage décor and clothing, artisan apothecary, cozy textiles, gorgeous jewelry.
For local food gifts that keep giving — Aspen Moon Farm
Aspen Moon Farm is a USDA-certified organic farm directly across the street from us. We can attest to the insane flavors of their greens and kind hearts of their owners. We are so lucky to Aspen Moon as our neighbors. Gift an Aspen Moon CSA share for 2026! Your loved one can pick their veggies and meat share from us at the same time (shameless plug).
✨Gift ideas: CSA subscription, bouquet of farm flowers, farm stand produce bundle.
For creative experiences — Butterscotch Studios

Butterscotch Studios is a women and queer-owned music and art collective in Downtown Longmont that brings people together through music lessons, workshops, and community events. Their inclusive space invites all ages to explore their creative side — a truly meaningful gift that fosters connection and joy.
✨Gift ideas: lesson packages or backyard concert tickets.
For caffeine and community flavors — Cafe Fritz
Cafe Fritz in Hygiene is a local favorite offering espresso, pastries, wine, small bites, and good vibes. Whether you’re grabbing a holiday coffee or gifting a warm experience, this café is a delicious stop that supports local hospitality and connection. Another dangerously close establishment...
✨Gift ideas: café gift cards, holiday coffee dates, shared meals with friends.
For conscious clothing — Shop Circular
In Lyons (just a short scenic drive from Longroots Ranch), Shop Circular Co. is a sustainable, second-hand boutique full of upcycled clothing, vintage treasures, and timeless pieces — perfect for conscious gifting that values reuse and creativity. With ever-changing stock, every visit feels like a discovery.
✨Gift ideas: vintage fashion finds, unique accessories, storytelling pieces.
...of course, For coziness and texture — Longroots Ranch

Each year, we have a very limited number of naturally-tanned sheep hides, produced as part of our commitment to honoring the whole animal. Every hide is completely unique in size, shape, color, and texture—no two are alike. Soft, warm, and incredibly durable, they make beautiful throws, nursery rugs, reading-chair companions, or heirloom home pieces.
Gifting a Longroots Ranch hide is a way to bring the story of regenerative land stewardship, respect for the animal’s full life, and local craft into someone’s home—cozy, grounded, and deeply connected to place.
We’re so grateful to be growing alongside this incredible community of farmers, makers, families, and small business owners. Thank you for choosing to support them. Thank you for supporting us. And thank you for helping build the kind of future we want for our kids and Planet.
